Ledge Campsite Renovation Fundraiser

What are we doing?

Our Goal Is To Raise $30,000

We want to:
  • Replace all lean-tos
  • Remove diseased and damaged trees
  • Regrade campsite
  • Rebuild fire pit
  • Centralize the campsite’s experience
How:

Ranger Dave will put his breath of knowledge in renovation campsites to renovate Ledge. In the past few years he has renovated Nathan Hale, Jerome, and Loyalty. He will use this experience to re-image this loved campsite.

When:

Camp Sequassen is blessed to be experiencing large investments into its facilities. If we are able to raise the required funds to renovate Ledge Campsite we hope to get it renovated in 2027 or 2028.

To cover the cost of replacing the existing lean-tos, do the ground work, and buy other material it is estimated it will cost about $30,000 to renovate Ledge Campsite.

Donation Tiers

  • Tier 1: $250 – Reward: Name on campsite renovation plaque
  • Tier 2: $5,000 – Reward: Lean-to plaque

FAQ

Why is the Ledge Campsite so important?

For many alumni, the Ledge isn’t just a campsite — it’s where lifelong friendships were formed, leadership was tested, and unforgettable campfire stories were told under the stars. Generations of Scouts have called the Ledge home for a week each summer. This fundraiser ensures that future Scouts can experience the same rugged beauty, independence, and tradition that made the Ledge special to so many of us.

Donors can support the project through donations of any size, helping protect a campsite that shaped their Scouting journey. Special recognition opportunities may be available for certain giving levels, allowing former campers and leaders to permanently connect their name with the Ledge’s future. Supporting this effort is a meaningful way to give back to Camp Sequassen and ensure the Ledge remains a place where new memories are made for generations to come.

Yes. The Sequassen Alumni Association operates as a charitable organization, and donations to the Ledge Renovation Project are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Donors will receive documentation for their records.
